Zari was born to Twin Adder parents in Gridania, growing up among the vast settlements around The Black Shroud. Her family was supportive in her endeavors, and trained among her parents with wooden weapons. When she was old enough, she trained as a lancer and enlisted in the Twin Adder as a guard. Through her basic training, she got her own place in Quarrymill, and posted up as a guard there. When she turned 20, she was posted at the Hawthorne hut, and after a few months being posted there she quit the guard scene and became a bounty hunter instead.
Her bounties was anything from rat extermination to dragon extermination, and was recognized by the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. The Scions enlisted her among their ranks to defeat the primals that were popping up. With her skills as a lancer, soon to be fledgling dragoon, she made her way to Ishgard. With the gates now open for friends of the Seventh Dawn, she settled into the Skysteel Manufactory. She picked up a pistol and has stuck with it ever since.
In her spare time, Zari had picked up sewing, making clothes for herself and friends. She takes high paying contracts nowadays from nobles to fix rips and such in clothing. As of recently, she's begun to cook, making delicacies. Her nights, however, is for the night life, going to restaurants, drinking at bars, and going clubbing with her friends. She works at the Gilded Fox as a bartender on Fridays.
